Thanksgiving 2009 and dropping off Kira at the MTC.

We ordained Jacob an Elder the day after
Thanksgiving.

Do as I'm doing...

...follow, follow me.

At Jeremy's celebrating Christmas early so
we could see them open the gifts.

Jeremy thought it was hilarious that Elana
gave Chari a Snuggie for Christmas.

Dropping Kira off at the MTC.

Goodbye. See you in 18 months.

One more wave and then...gone.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Megan and Scott's
House. There were over 30 people there. It was
wonderful. The weather was great too.
Then we went to Logan and Stayed at Jeremy and Chari's
for a couple of days and all got sick. That wasn't so fun, but
it was nice being with them. Then down to Provo to and a
night at Nathan and Tonya's house. Then to the MTC to
drop off Kira for her mission to Oklahoma City, OK.
No we are back and life goes on. Our house is a little more
quiet now and will be more so when Jacob leaves next month
to live in Utah for his job. We are almost empty nesters.
Kind of wierd. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas
and a Happy new Year.

Kira's papers are in Salt Lake City!

Last night Kira got a call from our Stake President, who informed her that her mission papers have been sent to Salt Lake City and she should receive her mission call in 2 or 3 weeks. Needless to say that we are very excited. I will definitely post (maybe with video) where and when she will be serving.

2009 Gage Family Reunion

Elana, Tashina and I before our little hike.

Elana and Tashina enjoying the evening in
Cedar City, Ut.

Jacob at the helm on Lake Navajo.

Jer, Chari, Sadie, Elana and Jake at Cedar Breaks.

Jeremy, Chari and Sadie at Cedar Breaks.
We had a great time at the Gage family reunion
in Cedar City, Ut. Megan and Scott did a wonderful
job planning it and allowed all of us to stay at their home.
I am sure they are still recuperating. It was fun to be
able to see Jeremy and Chari and of course our
grandaughter Sadie.
Before we went to the reunion, we went to Rexburg, Id
and attended my uncle Ray Gallup's funeral. I was able to see
my cousins I hadn't seen in over 20 years. I am glad we
made the trip up to see them.

She is so DANG cute!

Smiling for grandma and grandpa G.

I wonder if she knows who we are yet?

Kisses for mom.

Kisses from dad.
We were able to Skype this morning of the
4th of July. We are excited to go see them
in a month.
Happy 4th of July everyone. God bless
America. We are going to need it more
now than ever.

enjoy them too.
